We foster a supportive environment with initiatives that bring like-minded individuals together, such as the eLife Early-Career Advisory Group (ECAG) and eLife Community Ambassadors, and seek to amplify the voices of researchers through the magazine content we publish.

Early-Career Advisory Group: A group of active scientists advocate for early-career researchers while shaping eLife's activities to help realise our mission.
Global South Committee for Open Science: Supporting researchers in the Global South, and amplifying their work.
eLife Community Ambassadors: A cohort of early-career researchers work together to drive change towards open-science and responsible and inclusive research practices.
Collections
Research Culture: There are growing concerns that the research system no longer benefits science or scientists and that changes need to be made. Specially selected articles explore a variety of topics within this broad area.
Meta-Research: Meta-research is research that uses the methods of science to study science itself. From gender bias in peer review to the readability of the scientific literature, there’s a wide breadth of articles to explore in this collection.
Equity, Diversity and Inclusion: In the face of systemic racism, gender bias and other forms of inequality, we share how institutions and individual scientists are working to make science more equitable, diverse and inclusive.
